AZIRR15PKG1 - General Description

The Azden IRR-15PKG1 is a single channel standard infrared package with a IRR-15 receiver, a IRH-15C hand held microphone and a IRD-60 external sensor.

Infrared is perfect for classroom audio because it cannot penetrate walls and is line-of-sight. This means that a school can have as many classrooms as desired with individual audio systems, without fear of interference. And in today's RF saturated world a regular (VHF or UHF) microphone system risks interference from variety of other devices and sources. Cell phones, radios, TV, PA systems, police and emergency service systems can all interfere with VHF and UHF, but not with IR.

• 1 x IRR-15 receiver: The single-channel IRR-15 has the same basic features as the IRR-23, but with only one channel, and is for those on a budget. Later you can add a second receiver on another channel and get the same results as the IRR-23.
• 1 x IRH-15c handheld microphone: The perfect handheld "pass-around" microphone for student participation, this dual channel microphone/transmitter, operates on the channel that the teacher is not using. It is powered by two "AA" batteries (alkaline or rechargeable) and is compatible with all Azden infrared models
• 1 x IRD-60 sensor: In most classroom situations, a single well-positioned IRD-60 external IR sensor pro-vides complete classroom coverage. Mounting is easy, and the sensor is connected to the IRR-30P receiver with standard coaxial wire.
