DAC7L - General Description

The Datavideo DAC-7L is a small but powerful mini converter that enables users to convert the Component, S-Video or Composite output to broadcast quality SD-SDI with embedded audio. The DAC-7L enables easy connection to SDI broadcast equipment such as Datavideo’s SE-900 or SE-1000 vision mixers.

The DAC-7L can accommodate two channels of audio input via RCA or balanced Canon XLR and embed them both in the SDI signal, requiring only one SDI cable for both video and audio transmission.

If you wish to mount a format converter with your camera, please use the DAC-7. The DAC-7 includes a tripod mount that can be mounted between a tripod and a camera, or directly on the camera
